About Midland Paper Products
Established in January 2004 Midland Paper Products is owned by its four Directors, Les Lloyd, Mick Booth, Ron Smith and Craig Williams. The aim of the company from day one has been simple - to offer distributors better products and a better service.
The companys strength has been its ability to offer flexibility even to the smallest distributors, sometimes just needing a mixed pallet of paper delivered with 48 hours. Those loyal customers continue to make up a large percentage of the companies turnover. In rwecent years however, as the company has grown, Midland Paper have introduced several larger distributors, wholesalors and purchasing groups to its customer base.
In 2005 the company introduced a range of products under the brand name Esfina which is now recognised throughout the market as a quality range of products at affordable prices.
Initially the company didn’t convert anything but worked closely with some partners within the industry helping to keep overheads to a minimum on the early years. In 2008 however the company bought its first machine to convert roll products such as jumbos, centrefeeds etc. The converting line enabled Midland Paper Products to improve quality even further as well as gaining a competitive edge against its competition.
In 2011 Midland Paper moved to new lager premises in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire and added a second industrial re-winder. This new faster converting line was bought to help the company improve its efficiencies and also allow the company scope to grow. Also in 2011, Midland Paper were awarded the CHSA Soft Tissue accreditation.
